Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert [Blu-Ray] (2009-2017)
|
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson (March 4, 2020)
ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME: IN CONCERT
25TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERTS: “Across two nights in 2009, rock royalty descended on Madison Square Garden, and we see most of the results via Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: 25th Anniversary Concerts. I wish we got every performance here, but I still find an awful lot to like.”
ENCORE 2010-2013: “Like sibling packages, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert Encore comes with some unfortunate edits and omissions. Still, it packs enough good material to turn into a useful package.”
IN CONCERT 2014-2017: “Due to some edits and omissions, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert 2014-2017 doesn’t become a slam-dunk product. Still, it includes so much valuable material that I endorse it.”

The Package:
With this six-disc package, we get a collected release of three prior sets. 25th Anniversary Concerts included most of two shows in late October 2009.
Both Encore and In Concert: 2014-2017 gave us the majority of eight Rock Hall induction ceremonies. These cover the inductions from 2010 through 2017.
With 2020’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert, we find all those adventures in one package. This means it gives us all six discs in one home.
All those links above go to the individual reviews, and this set lacks any exclusive content.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert brings a lot to the table. With a ton of music legends, it offers many hours of entertainment. The shows offer very good picture and audio along with minor supplements. If you don’t already own the releases on their own, this package becomes a worthwhile purchase, especially because it combines the three sets at a discount price.
