1. Show Dogs [Blu-Ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Family movies don’t need to offer lowest common denominator fare, but no one told those behind the execrable Show Dogs. Stupid, crass and witless, the film manages not a single clever or amusing moment. Starring Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Will Arnett. Universal, $34.98, 8/21/2018.

2. Hustle And Flow (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Flow ends up as an inconsistent and oddly unfocused movie. It keeps us entertained for its running time and has some quality moments. Because it fails to embrace a realistic worldview, it falls short of its goals. Starring Terrence Howard, Anthony Anderson. Paramount, $29.99, 1/10/2006.

4. Fast Five [Blu-Ray] (2011)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: After 10 years, the Fast and the Furious franchise continues to rake in the big bucks – and I continue to feel somewhat befuddled by its appeal. Fast Five became a sizable hit but it never goes much of anywhere, as the characters, story and action all remain somewhat pedestrian. The Blu-ray delivers excellent picture and audio along with a strong roster

5. The Fate of the Furious [4K UHD] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Eight films into the franchise, The Fate of the Furious demonstrates a lack of creativity. While it throws plenty of over the top action and mayhem at the viewer, little of this material sticks, so the end result feels oddly dull. Starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson. Universal, $14.98, 7/11/2017.

6. Fred Claus [Blu-Ray] (2007)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With a stellar cast and a clever concept, Fred Claus could’ve been a winner. Instead, it offers an experience so insipid and banal that it made me long for the relative pleasures of the mediocre The Santa Clause. Starring Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti. Warner, $14.98, 11/25/2008.

7. Furious 7 [4K UHD] (2015)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: 14 years into the franchise, Furious 7 showed a well-oiled machine. While the flick doesn’t alter the established template, it manages to give us a pretty good array of insane action scenes, so it musters reasonable entertainment. Starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker. Universal, $22.98, 3/28/2017.

8. 2 Fast 2 Furious [4K UHD] (2003)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While I can’t claim I thought much of the first film in the franchise, 2 Fast 2 Furious seems even less compelling. The movie boasts no sense of energy or drama, so it ends up as a dull, one-dimensional affair. Starring Tyrese Gibson, Paul Walker. Universal, $29.98, 10/2/2018.

9. The Fate of the Furious [Blu-Ray] (2017)

10. Crash (2005)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I wouldn’t necessarily call Crash itself unmemorable, as the movie’s too ambitious to be discounted. However, I also wouldn’t call it a success ... Give this one a rental if you want to see what all the fuss is about, but I don’t think it deserves more than that. Written and Directed by Paul Haggis. Lions Gate, $19.98, 9/6/2005.
